Verizon Avoids Hidden-Fee Claims Over TV Protection Plan

Law360, New York (June 22, 2012, 5:45 PM ET) -- A New Jersey federal judge on Friday dismissed a putative class action against Verizon Communications Inc. that accused the telecom giant of charging hidden fees in connection with its television protection plan, finding no evidence of fraud or misrepresentation by the company.
