Law360, New York (September 20, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Veteran CBS evening news anchor Dan Rather has filed a $70 million lawsuit against his former employer, alleging breach of contract, reputational harm and fraud related to his demotion and his eventual termination last year.
The lawsuit, filed in the New York State Supreme Court on Wednesday, also names CBS Chief Executive Leslie Moonves, Chairman Sumner Redstone and former president of CBS News Andrew Heyward as defendants.
