Rihanna Sues Her Ex-Accountants Over 'Ill-Gotten' Fees

Law360, New York (July 05, 2012, 9:40 PM ET) -- Rihanna launched a lawsuit in New York federal court Tuesday claiming accounting firm Berdon LLP kept the R&B singer in the dark as to the true state of her financial situation so it could keep raking in millions of dollars in “exorbitant” commissions.

The complaint, filed on behalf of Rihanna and her concert touring company Tourihanna LLC, leveled a litany of allegations including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and professional negligence against Berdon and accountants Michael Mitnick and Peter Gounis.
