GameStop Strikes Deal With Retail Workers In OT Suit

Law360, New York (July 20, 2012, 5:58 PM ET) -- Video game retailer GameStop Inc. on Thursday settled a proposed class action brought by its California-based store employees that alleged the retail chain violated labor laws by failing to pay workers proper overtime and provide breaks. 

Lead plaintiff Thomas Lusby asked a California federal court to approve a settlement in which GameStop agreed to pay $750,000 to a proposed class of over 13,800 current and former employees who worked in the chain’s California locations.
