Law360, New York (August 29, 2012, 8:49 PM ET) -- Former D.C. United defender Bryan Namoff on Wednesday filed a $12 million suit against the professional soccer team for allegedly failing to properly attend to a concussion he suffered during a game, which he said ultimately forced him to retire.
In a complaint filed in D.C. Superior Court, Namoff accuses D.C. Soccer LLC and former D.C. United coach Thomas Soehn of negligence by failing to treat a concussion he suffered in 2009 and returning him to play three days after the injury.
