'Hurt Locker' Ruling Condones IP Theft, Vet Tells 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (September 11, 2012, 3:07 PM ET) -- A soldier alleging director Kathryn Bigelow, film studio Summit Entertainment LLC and others unfairly turned his life into the war film "The Hurt Locker" told the Ninth Circuit on Monday that a lower court's ruling granted the theft of his persona and life story.
