Law360, New York (November 30, 2012, 7:11 PM ET) -- Convicted fraudster and former National Lampoon Inc. CEO Timothy Durham was sentenced to 50 years in prison on Friday, for running a $200 million scam that defrauded more than 5,000 investors and misled them about a financial services business he ran.
U.S. District Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson handed down the sentence in Indiana federal court, according to the U.S. Department of Justice, after a jury in June found Durham guilty of fraud by way of a four-year scheme.
