Law360, New York (January 31, 2013, 7:01 PM ET) -- Instant lottery leader Scientific Games Corp. has inked a $1.5 billion deal to combine its scratch-off and electronic gaming empire with WMS Industries Inc.'s video gambling operation, the buyer announced on Thursday.
Scientific Games will pay out $26 per share for the Illinois-based WMS, which specializes in gaming machines and interactive gaming content, according to a statement from the buyer.
