Law360, New York (February 26, 2013, 12:13 AM ET) -- Companies in litigation are having to produce more data from employees' social media accounts and mobile devices, raising privacy questions, according to a survey of in-house counsel released by Fulbright & Jaworski LLP on Tuesday.
The firm's annual litigation report, which surveyed 392 general counsel and in-house litigators at major international companies, found that 28 percent of respondents had encountered privacy and data protection hiccups during the past year. This marks an increase from 2011, when 25 percent reported problems.
