Bowling Congress Hit With Antitrust Class Action

Law360, New York (February 04, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The group that sanctions U.S. bowling competitions has been hit with an antitrust class action that alleges bowling lanes have been certified by people with conflicts of interest and that the group is conspiring to inflate scores by manipulating bowling lane conditions.

U.S. Bowling Congress caused proposed class members to lose revenue and goodwill and damaged the members' reputations, Jimbo's Bowling Group Inc. said in a lawsuit filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
