Beach Boys Pick Up Good Vibrations With Settlement

Law360, New York (March 21, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- After getting around in the courts for nearly a decade, a trademark dispute among the members of the Beach Boys over the use of the name has reportedly been resolved amicably.

Details of the settlement agreement among the members of the surf-rock group — Mike Love, Al Jardine and the estate of the late Carl Wilson — were not disclosed, Reuters reported.

The settlement averted a trial that was to begin next month, stemming from Jardine's use of the Beach Boys name.
