Law360, New York (September 01, 2009, 4:36 PM ET) -- CF Industries Holdings Inc. has launched a lawsuit against Terra Industries Inc. seeking to force the nitrogen products maker to hold its annual shareholder meeting after CF Industries' all-stock takeover bid expires.
Deerfield, Ill.-based CF Industries said Monday that although Terra is legally required to hold the meeting on an annual basis under Maryland law, its last such meeting was nearly 16 months ago.
