Law360, New York (November 05, 2009, 1:32 PM ET) -- Canadian agricultural giant Agrium Inc. has thrown all its cards on the table, boosting its hostile takeover bid for CF Industries Holdings Inc. to $4.52 billion in a last-ditch effort to snag the U.S. rival.
Agrium said Thursday it had increased its exchange offer to acquire all of CF’s outstanding shares to $92.99 per share based on Agrium’s closing stock price Wednesday.
