DOJ, State AGs OK $2.5B Ticketmaster-Live Nation Deal

Law360, New York (January 25, 2010, 4:52 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Justice and 17 state attorneys general have given the green light to the approximately $2.5 billion merger of Ticketmaster Entertainment Inc. and concert promoter Live Nation Inc., in a deal that calls for the divestiture of ticketing assets and licensing of ticketing software.
