Law360, New York (October 28, 2010, 2:46 PM ET) -- Oracle Corp. acquired a 10 percent stake in Mellanox Technologies Ltd., a computer server connectivity solutions company, sharply increasing the value of Mellanox shares on Thursday.
Oracle and Mellanox, an Israel-based company with U.S. headquarters in Sunnyvale, Calif., already cooperate with one another; Oracle uses Mellanox's InfiniBand technology, which is characterized as an end-to-end connectivity solution for servers and storage.
