Law360, New York (November 11, 2010, 12:55 PM ET) -- U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Gary Gensler said Thursday that his agency would unveil a series of proposed rules, including a hotly anticipated rule for real-time reporting of swap trades, at its next public meeting Nov. 19.
The real-time reporting rule is just one of between 50 and 60 new rules that the CFTC has been charged with finalizing before July 15 under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, which President Obama signed into law over the summer.
