Law360, New York (May 06, 2011, 4:47 PM ET) -- Federal prosecutors told a New York district court Thursday that former Ropes & Gray LLP associate Arthur Cutillo, soon to be the first defendant sentenced in the Galleon Group LLC insider trading scandal, should serve 30 to 37 months in prison.
The government's sentencing memorandum followed last week's request from Cutillo, 34, that the judge refrain from sentencing him to any prison time on the charges of securities fraud and conspiracy to commit securities fraud that he pled guilty to in December.
