Law360, New York (January 12, 2012, 5:31 PM ET) -- The Canadian Competition Bureau on Wednesday published revised guidelines describing its approach to administering a two-stage merger review process, providing increased guidance on the process of issuing supplementary information requests.
The new guidelines replace the original guidelines, which were issued Sept. 18, 2009, and provided the initial guidance on the implementation of the two-stage review under Canada's Competition Act, which went into force in March 2009.
