Law360, New York (January 19, 2012, 8:30 PM ET) -- Fenwick & West LLP has snagged Perkins Coie LLP's California private equity practice chair for its private equity and mergers and acquisitions groups in its Silicon Valley office, the firm announced Tuesday.
A self-described “private equity purist,” Scott Joachim joined the technology and life sciences-focused firm this week as a partner in its private equity and M&A groups. Joachim will chair Fenwick's private equity practice, according to the firm.
The new partner was unequivocal this week when asked about his goal for Fenwick.
