Law360, New York (March 02, 2012, 3:48 PM ET) -- Private equity firm Nordic Capital said Friday it has agreed to buy Norwegian discount retailer Europris Holdings AS from IK Investment Partners LLP, the latest in a string of buyout firm deals across northern Europe.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed, though reports during ongoing talks pegged the value of the deal at between €400 million ($527.9 million) and €500 million. The companies did not immediately respond to requests for confirmation.
