Law360, New York (March 02, 2012, 8:21 PM ET) -- DLA Piper has landed a former Faegre Baker Daniels LLP attorney known for her work in global mergers and acquisitions and other cross-border transactions for its Minneapolis office, the firm announced Friday.
Kathleen Smith Ruhland, who was co-chair of Faegre's international practice, is joining DLA Piper's corporate and finance practice as a partner, according to the firm. Ruhland was an in-house attorney with General Mills Inc. for six years before joining Faegre.
