Judge Won't Expedite Suit Over $1B Pep Boys Deal

Law360, New York (May 03, 2012, 7:25 PM ET) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Thursday refused to expedite discovery in a shareholder suit seeking to stop Pep Boys from being acquired by The Gores Group for $1 billion, saying there is no proof that delaying discovery will harm investors.

U.S. District Judge William H. Yohn Jr. told three shareholders suing the auto parts retailer that discovery must wait until the court rules on the viability of the suit.
