Law360, New York (May 16, 2012, 7:20 PM ET) -- Boyd Gaming Corp. is set to acquire Peninsula Gaming LLC for $1.45 billion, Boyd announced Wednesday, giving the company an additional five casinos in the Midwest and the Southeast.
Boyd Gaming, which owns 17 properties nationwide, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Iowa-based Peninsula, which will give the company one casino in Kansas, which opened in December, two in Iowa and two in Louisiana, bringing the company's presence to eight states in total.
