Ryanair Loses Bid To Stop Probe Into Aer Lingus Stake Buy

Law360, New York (May 24, 2012, 5:27 PM ET) -- A British appeals court on Tuesday rejected Ryanair Holdings PLC's plea to shut down the government probe into Ryanair's 2006 purchase of a minority stake in fellow Irish airline Aer Lingus Group PLC on the grounds that the U.K. Office of Fair Trading waited too long to investigate.
