Law360, Chicago (June 29, 2012, 6:06 PM ET) -- Private equity giant The Carlyle Group has inked a deal to snap up a majority stake in Italian apparel brand holder Light Force SpA from its two founders and the growth capital fund DGPA Capital for an undisclosed price, the buyer said Friday.
Carlyle said it has already formed a partnership with Light Force founders Tiziano Sgarbi and Simona Barbieri with an eye toward growing the company's Italian womenswear brand Twin-Set Simona Barbieri. The deal is expected to close in August, the firm said.
