Law360, New York (September 19, 2012, 6:04 PM ET) -- The Carlyle Group LP has continued its summer shopping spree, announcing plans Wednesday to acquire a minority stake in Turkey's Penti, one of the biggest lingerie and hosiery manufacturers in Europe.
The Carlyle investment will help Penti grow its brand, already the largest in Turkey, and expand exports to the rest of the continent and around the world, the Washington-based private equity firm said in a statement.
