Law360, New York (December 19, 2012, 7:04 PM ET) -- Private equity firm Warburg Pincus will acquire a majority stake in consumer goods sales and marketing giant Crossmark Inc. after the companies entered a definitive merger agreement, Crossmark announced Wednesday.
Warburg Pincus will invest an undisclosed sum into Texas-based Crossmark, which will continue to lead the company and maintain a significant equity position after the deal closes, according to a statement issued Thursday.
A Crossmark spokesman told Law360 the terms of the deal would remain undisclosed.
