Seamless, GrubHub Keep Tie-Up On Track With Eatery Deal

Law360, New York (August 05, 2013, 2:11 PM ET) -- Seamless North America LLC, New York City's dominant online food-ordering concern, and competitor GrubHub Inc. have agreed to waive exclusive service deals with Manhattan eateries as a condition of their planned merger, the state's attorney general said Monday.

Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman said the companies agreed to that step — and in most cases not to enter new, exclusive deals with Manhattan-based restaurants for 18 months — in order to move forward with their merger.
