Deals Rumor Mill: Verizon, Vista Equity Partners, Chevron

By Benjamin Horney (October 19, 2016, 2:51 PM EDT) -- Verizon Communications Inc. is becoming frustrated by what it perceives to be a lackluster investigation by Yahoo Inc. into a 2014 hack that affected at least 500 million accounts, according to a report from Bloomberg on Wednesday. According to the report, Verizon still plans to complete its purchase of Yahoo's core interest business, but the company has had internal discussions concerning the fact that it has received only "limited information" about the hack, despite regular meetings between the two companies' lawyers. Reports earlier this month said that the hack had caused Verizon to consider asking to lower the price tag on the $4.83 billion deal with Yahoo....
