Deals Rumor Mill: Pacific Controls, Coca-Cola, Clydesdale

By Benjamin Horney (October 25, 2016, 6:17 PM EDT) -- Troubled Dubai-based technology group Pacific Controls is in discussions to divest its data center in the emirate to telecom firm Etisalat, Reuters reported on Tuesday. According to the report, the sale would be part of Pacific Controls plan to restructure 1.3 billion dirhams ($381 million) in debt. Pacific Controls is also facing potential legal action from creditor Emirates NBD over nonpayment of some of its debt, the report noted. Pacific Control's struggles can be traced to the plummeting price of oil, which has affected many companies operating in the Gulf, the report said....
