Law360, New York (October 31, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- Prosecutors in the complex tax-shelter case against a slew of former executives of accounting firm KPMG LLP are seeking a federal judge’s approval to introduce evidence that could bolster the government’s case against the defendants.
The proposal, filed on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, outlines new accusations against several of the 18 executives, who have all been indicted on criminal fraud charges relating to the creation and sale of allegedly improper tax shelters, the New York Times reported....
