Law360, New York (January 15, 2010, 6:30 PM ET) -- The former head of the fraud section at the U.S. Department of Justice is joining Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP as co-chair of its investigations and criminal defense practice in Washington.
Steven Tyrrell, who supervised 60 attorneys and 25 support staff as chief of the fraud section, will start at Weil Gotshal on Feb. 1. He said he looked forward to bringing knowledge gleaned from years as a federal prosecutor into the private sector.
