Law360, New York (November 03, 2010, 2:44 PM ET) -- Ira Sorkin, the attorney who defended notorious Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff, and a group of securities attorneys will be leaving Dickstein Shapiro LLP to join Lowenstein Sandler PC.
Sorkin — along with Dickstein Shapiro partner Donald Corbett and associates Nicole DeBello, Elliot Stein, Daniel Roque and Bradley Brown — plans to join the ranks of Lowenstein Sandler's New York office on Monday.
“I thought it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up for me and my group,” Sorkin said Wednesday.
