Day Trader Admits To Profiting From BrunswickTips

Law360, New York (May 16, 2011, 6:23 PM ET) -- A Miami day trader pled guilty Monday in New York to profiting from confidential corporate deal tips a former Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. employee gleaned from his wife, who worked at public relations firm Brunswick Group.

Daniel Corbin, 35, admitted in Manhattan federal court to one conspiracy and one securities fraud count concerning a September 2006 purchase of shares in Veritas, now known as Compagnie Generale de Geophysique-Veritas SA.
