2nd Circ. Weighs Revival Of Goldman Pay Disclosure Suit

Law360, New York (November 28, 2011, 4:45 PM ET) -- A Second Circuit panel indicated on Monday that it may resurrect a shareholder suit accusing Goldman Sachs Group Inc. CEO Lloyd Blankfein of failing to properly disclose his compensation, expressing doubt about a lower court's decision to toss the case.

Investor Jeffrey Bader claims Blankfein and other Goldman directors lied about their earnings in proxy statements, using accounting trickery to hide the true value of Goldman stock options they received.
