Law360, New York (January 30, 2012, 1:25 PM ET) -- A loan officer lodged a putative class action in New York on Thursday, alleging MetLife Inc. failed to pay minimum wage and improperly classified its employees as exempt from state and federal overtime pay requirements.
In a complaint filed in New York federal court, lead plaintiff Patricia Wyler-Wittenberg alleges MetLife and its subsidiary MetLife Home Loans Inc. denied hundreds of loan officers working in its New York locations proper pay and overtime compensation.
