Law360, New York (February 22, 2012, 3:51 PM ET) -- A former New York Mets clubhouse manager has pled guilty to tax evasion and criminal possession of nearly $2.3 million worth of memorabilia, including autographed jerseys, bats and baseballs belonging to the team, prosecutors said Tuesday.
Ex-clubhouse manager Charles Samuels, who was fired in November 2010, pled guilty Tuesday to second-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third- and fourth-degree criminal tax fraud before Acting Queens Supreme Court Justice Barry Kron, Queens County District Attorney Richard Brown said.
