Law360, New York (May 02, 2012, 6:21 PM ET) -- Private equity giant Silver Lake Partners LP will take a minority stake in William Morris Endeavor Entertainment LLC, parent company of the eponymous talent agency, to finance its expansion into global digital media, the parties said Wednesday.
The agency, which represents actors and performers such Denzel Washington and Lady Gaga, has been bulking up its digital media operations, buying startups in advertising, social media, social gaming and e-commerce.
