AMR Says Airline Must Drop Union Contracts To Survive

Law360, New York (June 04, 2012, 6:18 PM ET) -- As talks between American Airlines' bankrupt parent corporation and its unions continue, the company on Monday urged a New York bankruptcy judge to let it drop its collective bargaining agreements and implement a new business plan, moves it says are essential to the company's survival.
