Law360, New York (July 09, 2012, 8:51 PM ET) -- Spectra Energy Corp. urged the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Friday to reject challenges by the Sierra Club and Jersey City, N.J., to the company's planned $1.2 billion pipeline from New Jersey to Manhattan, defending the commission's review of the project.
In a filing with the commission, Spectra said FERC should deny the Sierra Club and Jersey City's petitions for a rehearing on its approval of the pipeline project, rejecting their claims that the FERC's review was biased and incomplete.
