Law360, New York (November 25, 2014, 10:18 AM EST) -- In June, we wrote about states' efforts to fight patent assertion entities through consumer protection laws. Since that time, the landscape has continued to shift and evolve. Currently, there are now 17 states that have enacted legislation and there are 12 other states that are reviewing proposed legislation.
