Since that time, the landscape has continued to shift and evolve. Currently, there are now 17 states that have enacted legislation and there are 12 other states that are reviewing proposed legislation. The following briefly describes the change in status of various states' legislation efforts since our original article and illustrates that the states are continuing their efforts against bad-faith patent infringement assertions....
