Law360, New York (April 28, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- The former general counsel for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Giovanni Prezioso, has confirmed rumors he will return to his former law firm, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, after the firm’s leadership voted Friday to accept him back into the flock.
The move further solidified the strong ties between the regulatory agency and the New York-based law firm, which also recently employed the retired SEC general counsel who preceded Prezioso in the position.
