Coudert Creditors Want To Probe Former Partners

Law360, New York (August 07, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Creditors of defunct law firm Coudert Brothers have requested information from former Coudert partners, now at DLA Piper and Dechert LLP, as part of their probe into the role the attorneys may have played in the firm's collapse.

In applications directing examinations pursuant to Rule 2004 of the Bankruptcy Code, filed Wednesday, the creditors asked seven Dechert partners and nine DLA Piper partners, as well as the firms themselves, to produce all documents and other information concerning their dealings with Coudert.
