Lawyers For Ex-Tyco Execs Argue For New Trial

Law360, New York (September 03, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Lawyers for two former Tyco International Inc. executives convicted of massive accounting fraud have asked New York's high court for a new trial, taking issue with Tyco's internal investigation and asking the court to throw out their clients' 2005 convictions.

In the New York State Court of Appeals on Tuesday, the attorney for former CEO L. Dennis Kozlowski argued that David Boies, a lawyer hired by Tyco to conduct an internal investigation, prejudiced the jury against him.
