Real Estate Rumors: Whole Foods, Caval, Silicon Valley Bank

The grocery chain is taking three floors at the Macklowe Properties Inc. building — two for a shopping market and one for the firm's back-end operations, Commercial Observer said. Whole Foods is the first commercial tenant Macklowe has landed for the property, a residential building that has 155,000 square feet of retail space, according to the report....
