Heller Reveals $7M Paid To Departing Partners In '08

Law360, New York (February 25, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Nearly three dozen partners who left or retired from Heller Ehrman LLP last year received a total of $7.2 million from the law firm, which is now in the middle of Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.

The San Francisco-based firm submitted a document in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California on Friday that outlined the capital distributions it made to 35 partners whose departures contributed to the dissolution of the firm, which filed for bankruptcy in December.
