Law360, New York (April 01, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal court has refused to toss a case filed by patent-holding company Software Rights Archive alleging Internet giants Google Inc., Yahoo Inc. and other firms infringed patents for Internet indexing and display technology.
In a decision issued Tuesday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Charles Everingham of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas ruled that the plaintiff had standing to bring the case, despite defendants' arguments to the contrary.
