Law360, New York (December 19, 2012, 6:49 PM ET) -- Blank Rome LLP and Cozen O'Connor were hit with a lawsuit by a group of foreign investors who claimed they were deceived into pouring some $27 million into a Philadelphia development project promoted by an attorney who had worked at both firms.
In a complaint filed in New York state court, Kilbride Investments Ltd. and other investors claimed they had been tricked into investing in a purportedly 12-million-square-foot “River City” development project with 600-foot tall skyscrapers that could never materialize because of certain zoning restrictions....
