Law360, New York (August 11, 2011, 5:19 PM ET) -- The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee announced Wednesday that the names and Social Security numbers of some 75,000 of its students and workers had been exposed in a hacking incident first uncovered in May.
The school said its investigation into the breach, in consultation with computer security experts, found that there was no evidence that personal information had been taken or used. The hacked systems did not contain financial information or grades, the school said.
