Law360, New York (September 13, 2011, 7:23 PM ET) -- Facebook Inc. said Tuesday it had hired the co-chair of Covington & Burling LLP's privacy and data security practice to serve as its director of privacy, and added a former White House staffer as its head of public policy.
Covington partner Erin Egan will begin at Facebook in mid-October, and ex-White House staffer Louisa Terrell will join as director of public policy in early October after having served as special assistant to the president for legislative affairs, the tech giant said.
